Krystal Paco-San Agustin
Krystal Paco-San Agustin is a woman to watch. A former KUAM News Anchor and Reporter, she joined the Leon Guerrero-Tenorio Administration in 2019 as Press Secretary and now serves as the Director of Communications for the Office of the Governor of Guam. Within her first year in government service, she was named 50 Under 40 Emerging Leaders in the Government of Guam. Krystal is also an adjunct instructor at the University of Guam where she teaches her students to combat their fear of public speaking.
Krystal is a host of the Academic Challenge Bowl and a former host of the locally produced CHamoru children’s TV show, Nihi! When she’s not at work, you can find her performing weekly with her band “The Frequency” or in local productions. Her theater credits include Gigi in Miss Saigon, Maureen in Rent, Diana in A Chorus Line, and Tanya in Mamma Mia! As a saxophonist, she’s also performed in world famous venues with the Guam Territorial Band, including the Sydney Opera House and Carnegie Hall.
