CLAIRE YI
Claire Yi is currently a senior at Harvest Christian Academy. She started learning violin at the age of 4 and piano at the age of 5. Over the past 10 years, Claire has received numerous awards with both violin and piano solos from competitions such as the Young Artist Competition, Tumon Bay Music Festival, Music Eduventure International Piano Competition, National Student Music Competition, and the World Genius Classic Competition. She has also performed a piano solo at the renowned Carnegie Hall in the summer of 2022. In addition to the Tumon Bay Youth Orchestra, she is also a member of the Guam Symphony Orchestra, the concertmaster of the Harvest Christian Academy Symphony Orchestra, and the co-president of the Tri-M Music Honor Society at HCA. This is her first year of learning to conduct under the instruction of Mr. Max, and she is grateful for this opportunity to further enhance her musical abilities. In the future, Claire hopes to continue following her passion for music. |
